A playful take on past and present, advertising and visual experimentation to understand how food has changed, and learn more about the distinctive traits of cuisine in the last century. 100 advertising illustrations by the greatest communicators of the day, such as Boccasile, Codognato, Dudovich and Metlicovitz which provide a fully-fledged excursus into Italy’s past. The illustrations, from the Paola Mazza Historical Advertising Archive, will be presented alongside an olfactory journey through “antique odours” recreated by Genoa-based fragrance designer Caterina Roncati.
